ABOUT US

MACKIE REAUX CONSTRUCTION, INC. (MRC) was founded in 1984 by Malcolm "Mackie" Reaux of Broussard, Louisiana. As a draftsman with experience in project management, Mackie knew he could help entrepreneurs grow their businesses by building equitable employee working spaces. Mackie oversaw all phases of building projects for his clients, from initial design all the way through to the final move-in-ready phase. Meanwhile, his son, Ryan, was shadowing Mackie's every move; from performing job-site cleanup operations, tying rebar, lining up subs, to meeting with inspectors. Ryan also completed schooling in drafting and began integrating new technology into MRC's daily operations. Hand-drawing processes were converted to AutoCAD, office functions were computerized, and cell phones with internet capabilities were placed on job-sites; all aiding in the growth and efficiency of MRC. Upon Mackie's retirement in 2003, Ryan purchased his father's company and is MRC's President & CEO. MRC's construction specialties entail restaurants, retail complexes, medical/dental care facilities, & commercial building renovations - including relevant site development operations. In 2013, Allison Reaux joined MRC, providing both a diverse background in business development and an integral role in bringing the company to a national level. Well known for its Design-to-Build specialty, MRC is a one-stop shop, self-performing General Contractor - operating construction sites throughout all of Louisiana and numerous other states in the U.S. Check out MRC's U.S. Licensing map below, as well as its Projects & Safety Page. MRC only subs out Mechanical, Plumbing, Electrical and a few other disciplines. This allows MRC to travel to any market and hold a competitive edge.
